Our Story

HERAX was founded in 2009, with the purpose to fill the need for Life Science consultants with clinical experience and a proven methodology. Consultants who understand the problems and challenges in Clinical Development, and can help Life Science companies optimize processes, select solutions and implement these better.

Allan Bech Thomsen

CEO & Project Director

Allan has 14+ years of experience in the life science industry specializing in program/project management, business case development, vendor selection, business & IT strategy development in clinical operations. Prior to joining HERAX, Allan worked for 15 years in IBM with projects and compliance. Supports clients in Switzerland and Denmark.

Jacob Jensen

CIO & Project Director

Jacob has 7+ years of experience in pharma as a senior project manager and consultant. He specializes in clinical data standardization (CDISC), IT architecture, business case development and project management. Jacob has extensive experience with CDW, Statistical Computing Environments and Metadata Repository implementations. Jacob has previously worked as a project manager in web development.

Sarah Sendrup

CCO & Principal Consultant

Sarah has 7+ years of experience in the life science industry specializing in project management, business case development, vendor selection, business process optimization, IT implementations, and quality assurance in clinical processes in R&D. Sarah has supported life science and medical device clients both in Denmark and the rest of Europe.

Cecilie Steglich-Willert

CPO & Principal Consultant

Cecilie has 5+ years of experience with process optimization and IT implementations in the life science industry. Cecilie is specialized in EDMS, data standardization, and migration, design and build of knowledge sharing solutions across all of R&D. Cecilie has a background in Molecular Biomedicine with extensive laboratory research experience.
